Inspired by my first time seeing a Lunar Eclipse, it wasn’t long before I decided to write a piece of music about it. At first I thought, “I’ll write a happy tune probably in the lydian mode about how awesome lunar eclipses are!” but then I decided to try something different. Seeing the bright orb of the moon replaced with a dark orb the colour of blood, I wondered how this would look to our very ancient ancestors who had no idea what was going on, hence the less than optimistic sounding tone of the tune.

I have a great distaste for not making music.

I've been active on soundcloud for a few years but I've decided it was finally time to start offering my music on bandcamp. I'll be gradually uploading a lot of the soundcloud stuff up on bandcamp over the next few weeks
