cocotá are vocalist Fama M’Boup and guitarist Christian Stoltz who both share an excentric love for Senegalese Synth Pop from the 80s. Since this is a pretty narrow field, they carefully extended their repertoire to original songs. Playfully shredding their jazz backgrounds in improvs, they keep answering the phrase the other one started and improvising on the groove that one provides.
