The ship that sailed on Starlight Lake,
well the Captain he made a big mistake
He thought that he knew the Starlight Sound
but then the old ship it ran aground
The lifeboats filled with the children and women,
with no room for the men, so they just started swimming
But the currents were strong and the undertow
took hold of them all and wouldn’t let go
So now every year we have coffee and cake
and remember the ship on old Starlight Lake
