Rainbow from Kaleidoscope by Clerel
My first collaboration with Nick Tateishi, written after we met at a gig in Toronto. I wanted a “Big Room Soul” sound — strings, horns, and the sweep of Philadelphia soul — but also something intimate. To me, “Rainbow” is about emerging from darkness and falling back in love with life, embracing both joy and its shadows.
