This EP came out of weekly sound explorations while pregnant with my son, Sidney. Making time each week to create something felt like a reprieve from uncertainty about our family's upcoming transformation. I sit here writing this with our baby asleep on my chest. We were once one person, and now we are two. What was our world like without him in it? I have no idea.

Under 'Clariloops', Ruby Ester Mae creates immersive ambient music that weaves together synthesised electronic sounds and clarinet.
