rehearsal / improvisations by claire rousay
rehearsal / improvisations is a partial document of my rehearsal schedule september 21st - october 8th, 2019. both improvisation pieces were recorded live, at home, via a stereo send from my mixer to my audio interface.
rehearsal was recorded and edited october 1st thru 4th. this track originally was intended to be the b-side of an upcoming 2020 solo release but was rejected.
all three of these recordings are being presented as a final, united product even though they are far from “finished” from any kind of production standpoint.
maybe this is like looking at me create something through a cracked door that was left slightly ajar. not the whole but enough.
