CJ Grover (X The Kid) was born on December 31, 1996 in Huntsville, Texas. He was 9 years old when he was producing his own music and creating YouTube videos with the kids he grew up with. Graduating high school in 2015, X would attend SHSU until transferring to the Musicians Institute in 2017. While there X would learn some essential skills needed to become a talented multifaceted artist.
