"Citywits" is my second self-produced record (third of all time, second this year and under this moniker). i tried to make this record a little less polished and a little more improvisational, with some solos that push the limits of the known shredder-verse. The heavy songs are heavier and the weird songs weirder, the alien more alien and the political fury is flowing.
Critics are calling this album "an identity crisis set in 2025 America, but the identities are all sick as hell and where machines are waking up, and they're better at shit than we are."
all of the music on this album was solely created & recorded, mastered & released by me. I have not, and will not, use AI for any of the music in this project.
I have obviously used AI heavily for the visuals and videos, & just for general bullshittery. Im happy to have a talk about it with anyone & if you dislike AI in any capacity thats your right. for me, the tech is here, and it opens possibilities that were previously not available to an artist of my size. the tech is here, before im under it I am going to try & do something with it.
