feeltherain by Kaya Ko & ciscles

This EP was born of tender sporadic moments in the studio mostly during Spring 2021.
The title track feeltherain began as a full-scale production by ciscles, before Kaya felt inspired to write the deeply resonant lyrics that elucidate the sentiment behind the song.
Andreas came about mostly during a single session where ciscles and Kaya built the track around a sample from legendary harpist Andreas Vollenweider, with some of the vocals added months later.
Sour Passing is a tribute to souls passed on, inspired by a long conversation on a beach as the sun set and the moon rose in the same piece of sky. It's the most experimental track on the record and induces trance-like states.
Fuzzy Peaches was one of the first tracks created by the duo and lends its theme to the fuzzy peaches that were snacked on as the track was made. It's a reminder not to take oneself too seriously while navigating the realms of artistry, and puts on display the duo's shared musicality with their whimsicality and playful natures.
All the tracks draw from a wide variety of sounds, from deep bass to soulful vocals, live instrumentation and experimental electronic sound design. We hope you enjoy this offering from BC's finest up-and-sprouting underground artists.
