Vineyard Nights by Circling Crows

These are a series of longer recordings of night fauna in the dell of a Delaware River Valley vineyard. Limited to about 1650Hz and up, they capture insect sounds exclusively and are intended as background/ambient sounds to be added to one's existing ambient environment. Originally, the second, third, and fourth tracks were intended to be shared as a single file, however, the recording was broken into three tracks in order to comply with Bandcamp's track file size limitations (600MB). Although they are intended to be listened to together, each track has its own fade in/out so as to make the transitions less intrusive.

I'm a psychologist and violist reconnecting with my musical roots. Instrument design and construction, as well as viola, computer music, and field recordings are my current sonic interests.
