Elder by chris shackleton
I always wanted to make a chamber pop album like Mercury Rev's Deserter's songs, so I finally got round to it. I called it Elder as I am approaching 50 and like most 50 year old's, I've experienced a lot of life and death, ups and downs, famines and feasts in this time. I hope this album reflects that. It is expressed in the language of my own faith in Christ but the journey through life and death is one that belongs to us all!
