Continuity from The Situation by Christopher Pasillas

This piece focuses on a tremolo--one rapidly repeated note--throughout. That note that is constant sixteenth notes traded between my hands except at the parts where I messed up or when I intentionally did so because my hands aren't large enough and I wanted to use a larger portion of the keyboard. To maintain it completely, I would have had to keep both hands at the same part of the keyboard at all times, but I wanted to wander with my right hand a little near the end for a richer voicing.

From a pianistic perspective it's just trading playing chords between my two hands but making sure at least one note is shared between the chords. Sometimes, I'd make the chords overlap each other more and have adjacent notes, which creates the effect of rapid oscillations between those notes.

I use a lot more notes than that example and Gershwin doesn't do totally constant sixteenth notes, but the technique is very similar.
