Three Songs by Chris MaGee
In the summer of 2022 I had a computer crash, which wiped out not only my DAW but also all my VST instruments and software. What would have been a tragedy was actually a gift given that I wanted to begin creating work that was less reliant on electronic trickery and more on simple sounds. A few months later, I began composing these three pieces using only the tone generator included in Audacity and some simple effects downloaded with voice morphing freeware. These three songs are the result.
