Utilizing a wide variety of music instruments and tools, this album explores textures and ambient drones through the use of synthesizers, reel-to-reel tape players, guitars and effects, and even the human voice. The album's mood balances between dark and light and typically rests in the warmth of suspended chords and melodies.

Chris Joye is a film composer who writes original music that elicit various emotions through organic and synthesized instrumentation and arrangements. In 2007, he graduated from Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring and Bass Performance.
