Before the dawn, Mary and the women came and found the stone
Rolled away from the tomb
They heard an angelic voice:
Why do you seek the One who dwells in eternal Light among the dead?
Behold the clothes in the grave
Go quickly, proclaim to the world:

Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling down death by death
And on those in the tombs bestowing life
The Son of God saving the race of men
