Something about writing melodies has always been a struggle for me, but lately I've been finding that I enjoy writing melodic bass lines. I think they have a more percussive quality that lends itself better to my background as a drummer.

I have a deep voice that instantly gives me away, but I don't present particularly feminine either and I'm generally confident in my speech. However, I hate my singing voice. Integrating it into my music usually involves processing it until I no longer recognize it as my own, and that's exactly what I've done with this track. I wish we all had the ability to change our voices like this.

Please let me know if anything needs fixing! I've never prepared my tracks for someone else to master, so I'm not confident I did everything correctly.
