Four years in the making, "The Galleon" was CHIEF's most ambitious effort prior to the band's disbanding in 2021.
An album of leviathan proportions, "The Galleon" is a concept album about the ultimate victory of human good over evil. Fifteen songs that clock in at over an hour, the album runs the gamut of sounds and songs...strings, horns (brass and Viking), gongs, fire, waves, sonic atmospheres and songs that rock both straight ahead and take numerous unexpected turns, venturing into balladry, prog, metal, hard rock and otherwise.
