The music and title for this song came from Darren, who had originally written this floating bluesy tune as an instrumental. This is a song about a Ferny Meadow on the outskirts of Partington where Darren and his family would visit during early summer mornings when he was a young lad. The song is quite simplistic and retains a childlike quality, the lyrics are very visual that help to provoke a nostalgia of happy childhood memories.
