Poetry Teeth by Michael Cirelli with Charles Roe

I met Michael at a Austin slam - he gave me a copy of a show he recorded in AZ. Inspired by our meeting and conversations I added some music to each of his works, in part to learn how to use my new DAW and cover up the rawness of the original recoding and also to try my hand at adding any bop to his beat.

After graduating from Texas A&M, I moved around but Austin was my base for 18 years. I met Cece, she wanted to be a Foreign Service Officer- so after our family completed tours of Recife, Lima, Rio de Janeiro, and Melbourne, Australia I find myself at the Department of State in Washington, DC. After hours I play and arrange music. I currently play with Goodbye Ida based in Warrenton, Virginia.
