Betamax boldly ventures into the realm of solo production, putting aside his trusty drum sticks instead utilising an audio sampling device to construct rhythmadelic architecture designed specifically for machine performance.

In actual fact this EP marks a return to earlier foundations for Betamax- furiously jamming on his sampler as a 13 year old with floppy disks and cassettes scattered around his bedroom, Max would go on to discover the drum kit through early attempts to record drum samples. Now after decades of drumming around the world, we circle back to where it all began - Completing the loop - Now armed with a life of experience and a point to prove, Crumbs EP displays Betamax's flamboyantly daring production style; up close and raw with a potent sense of adventure.

Betamax’s relationship with technology is currently in couples therapy. chemical phone addiction, AI dread and general ambient tones of mistrust are countered with Cyborg Creative Flow State, access to the total knowledge archive and symbiotic life dependancy. Max has been dipping his musical toes deeper into the machine’s twisted liquid magic.
