Weaponized Incompetence by MND/RZR

I made this because I was bored. Bored of writing songs! Many years ago before I became proficient at such things I amused myself by making abstract musical noises, sometimes as imaginary film soundtracks and other times just for the sheer excitement of noise. As a 12 year old I was just as fired up by Mike Oldfield as I was by say the Sex Pistols.

'Weaponized Incompetence' is a return to that mindset and I had such fun making it. I bought some new toys to use alongside my existing ones which included a looper pedal and a portable digital recorder for field recording. In total I completed 14 pieces of varying texture and sensibility over a period of around 11 months. For this album I managed to whittle it down to 10 for sake of clarity - not that there was anything wrong with the other 4 you understand - but they could form the basis of another collection some day perhaps.
