Things change with time, of course, but let's pretend for a moment that they don't. As part of a large family, C'est Mal was raised on rap's earlier "boom bap" years - KRS-One, Gang Starr, Public Enemy, Kool G Rap - and he misses them. With his music, he aims to recreate similar sounds, but with a modern message. C'est Mal is a sort of plaster that pulls together the gap between then and now.
