The band is Ceol Batucada: 'Ceol' is the Irish word for music/song, and
'Batucada' is the Portuguese/Brazilian word for an ensemble of drums and percussion instruments.
Ceol Batucada were a band that emerged form The Drogheda Samba School in the early 1990's, in Ireland. They performed all over Ireland and beyond (including The Nottinghill Carnival). The music is based mostly on Afro-Brazilian grooves, sometimes including melodic elements from other traditions.
'aHaon' is the Irish word for one - this was their one-and only album, and was one of the first albums to be released by any European samba group.
