Opening his first independent release for V33 Records is a dark, cavernous track from Denmark’s CELO. This track cements the standard and tone that can be expected from all forthcoming V33 releases, with deep synths, aggressive baselines and pin sharp drums.
The B side of the release is no less powerful than the A side, where sub drops meet darkened rasps of energy. A dark, hard drum & bass track, symbolising the roots from which CELO emerged. Fascinated by the beats and baselines during his teens in the late 90's, and early 00's, this track is meant as a tribute to the darker, old skool side of drum & bass, with a modern, clean production sound.
