xGOODBYExISHIIx by French Canadian

This past April, a groundhog moved underneath our back patio. I named him Ishii as he bore a striking resemblance to Japanese wrestler Tomohiro Ishii. I was afraid he was going to burrow under our foundation, so I started thinking up non-lethal ways to get rid of him. I figured it would be fun to record a harsh noise wall album and use that to scare him away.

To my surprise he left after a week. We must already be a noisy family as it is. Ironically enough, I already miss seeing his fat little body cruising through our garden and was sad to see him go. I still wanted to record an album in honor of my little friend, so here it is. Enjoy.

Ishii, I hope you're safe wherever you are!

Literally the day after I wrote up this summary, I was working at my kitchen desk when, wouldn't you know it, Ishii came up the stairs of our back deck and peaked through the sliding glass door.

He's back, and I don't know if I want him to leave.
