EP1 by Randomcat

A brand-new project shrouded in mystery, Randomcat is an exploration of playful collage—a soundworld for randomers, cats, dadaists, liars and lovers.

EP1 features five distinct interpretations of the track Abubua. From the beat-heavy, off-kilter original to the drifting slurries of the Windopane and Polx versions, it’s a journey through layers of divergence that somehow hold together in abstract, unpredictable harmony.

Little else is known about Randomcat—its origins, its meaning—but one thing is certain: this project is born from a pure joy of experimentation. A paean to context and its absence, it offers a glimpse into the brains of those random cats you always encounter in new neighborhoods.
