“Profondità” means “depth” in Italian — and that’s exactly what this piece is about.
A slow, reverb-soaked solo for bass and guitar.
Inspired by the depth of the sea near my hometown on the Amalfi Coast… and the depths of the soul it mirrors.
The artwork shows a ghost hovering over the Gulf of Naples — a vision of my late father, who I sometimes feel watching when I return home.
This track is not loud.
It doesn’t rise — it sinks, slowly.
And maybe, if you follow it down far enough, you’ll find something of your own down there too.
