Alabaster by Carry Illinois
"Alabaster" is a collection of songs recorded in Brooklyn, NY at the beautiful Bunker Studio in late Spring 2014. It was fueled and inspired by a tough transitional period in lead singer Lizzy Lehman's life. She wrote her way through a difficult band break up, first hand observations of substance abuse, heartache and loss, and a bout of depression. When she opened her sleepy eyes, she and "Alabaster" were ready to record. Listen and you're likely to hear a little bit of yourself echoing back.
