LAURA: For nine years my second daughter made her home in Finnish Lapland deep within the Arctic Circle. Each winter brought three sun-less months of perpetual dusk
over frozen lakes and silent white forests.
I often found myself looking for bits of haberdashery to post to Laura to feed her passion for ‘making’ things for her home and to send back to friends and family in England, keeping connected.
