i want to offer gratitude to the Palestinian and Jewish leaders, activists, and artists who have helped me to understand and to access information and action steps, particularly USPCN, Chicago Coalition for Justice in Palestine, JVP, and Cultural & Healthcare Workers for Palestine Chicago. Gratitude to the artists who have scrawled "Free Palestine" on mailboxes and walls. Gratitude to the Palestinian Chicagoans chanting in Arabic, the cantors and rabbis holding vigil and singing songs of resistance, the drummers and bucket boys playing along. Gratitude to the artists making Ceasefire Now posters, and the people putting them up in their neighborhoods. Gratitude to the people in the protest WhatsApp group sharing Spotify playlists of resistance music. Gratitude to the journalists and everyday people on the ground, using the tools they have to share their story with the world, being braver and more resilient than anyone should ever have to be. Gratitude to all those who are working to make support for Palestine more accessible and actionable. I hope that this release can be a small part of that.
