Zone LP by Cara Tivey
Introducing ‘Zone’, a selection of some of Cara’s best compositions from the past three years. Some were written in lockdown when she enjoyed many hours of playing and developing ideas in solitude. Much inspired by beautiful Herefordshire and, as with all Cara’s compositions, there are elements of improvisation that give her pieces a unique and recognisable sound. Includes a remix by DJ and producer Geode, who also recorded and mastered the album.

Classically trained, Cara started working with seminal Birmingham bands Basil Gabbidon (founder member of Steel Pulse) and The Au Pairs, and then went on to record and tour with E.B.T.G, The Lilac Time, Billy Bragg, Michael Stipe and finally Blur during their 'Park Life' era.
She composes jazz/classical hybrid pieces for the piano.
