We all are born into our world to die and be reborn
If only in our dreams, only in our dreams
With blinders on open our eyes to every passing dawn
More fleeting than it seems, more fleeting than it seems

And every morn there is a golden thread
We receive one new chance every day
But unaware, instead of weaving cloth
We weave a web of golden holes, throw the threads away

All grown up, forgetting how to play

It hangs down low, it shimmers with the light of heaven's glow
