Derailed Annotations, is a patch designed to be faulty. A smooth melody keeps momentum while small elements of wire noise and off notes are interrupting the otherwise tranquil mood. The track ends in a reverb rich "crescendo" with shimmer.

ModuLARS aka Lars Kivig is a Danish composer, producer, and founder of Vicious Studio & Records. A sonic visionary in Copenhagen’s alternative scene since the late '90s, Kivig has released 22 full-length albums across projects such as MY BELOVED, Acorn Falling, Skambidt, Eocæn, BLACK WATER WHITE SEA and Kivig_Gniben. He has toured throughout Europe and China and contributed music to documentaries, short films, and national TV/radio.

Since embracing modular synthesis in 2017, Kivig has been navigating the fringes of dark ambient, field recordings, and sound design. His immersive soundscapes, often combining his modular system with cello, found sounds, and custom-built instruments, are marked by deep textures, dynamic range, and a raw emotional core.

ModuLARS is his newer electronic alter ego. The laboratory of voltage.
