Magic Mountain by Calypso
This first new Calypso album in five years offers a “good old-fashioned” approach to rock music, with styles ranging from straight riff-rock (“Secret Love”, “Yin and Yang”) and folk-rock (“Awaiting on Your Light”, “In Gloom”) to some more complex arrangements such as the piano-based semi-instrumental “Salute to the Sun” or the art-rock-like title track with its changes in dynamics and tempo.
