Anorak from Surfaces by Calypso
This song idea goes back to our friend Bastian’s bachelor’s party in Strasbourg, where Sven and I realized how the average French person is obviously more nicely dressed than many of our grumpy, grey anorak-wearing fellow countrymen. We tried to record this song multiple times in a slower, country-folkish kind of way, but it never really satisfied me until this time we thought we might speed it up a bit, with Christian playing the role of Steve Naïve pretty convincingly if you ask me.
