Merlin from Merlin EP by Calico Tweed
This song was inspired by a musical I did at summer camp as a young teen. It was a humorous retelling of King Arthur, and for a while I was traumatized by how disappointingly unfunny my character was. At least six or seven years later, I’ve written a catchy song about it. I guess that’s how I can laugh at the experience. I used my college’s harpsichord on this track. Looking back, I realize I should have added Boomwhackers, since they were heavily featured in the camp play. But I don’t want to overstimulate myself.
