Recorded in Sean's half of a shotgun on Banks Street in Mid-City, New Orleans, most likely in late 2010.
Originally released online via Chinquapin Records (RIP) and Community Records in May 2011.
In early 2012, The Weight was released on cassette via Community Records (ltd. to 75 copies) and was b/w demos of songs that would later appear on Feathering a Nest.
In February 2016, the EP was released on vinyl via (u guessed it) Com Rec. The record weighs 180 grams, runs at 45 rpm, and was mastered for vinyl by Carl Saff.
