A teacher was talking about an episode of Catfish, wherein two Catfish try to Catfish each other without the others' knowledge. //
I tried to allude to this by having sections of glib major waltz interrupted by or corrupted into dark minor rock / jazz bits. Of all the allusions to the title, I feel this track gets it closest to what I had in my head. The image of a Catfish sending a coy message then slinking away, thinking they've fooled them, was what inspired the middle waltz into jazz bit. //
