GREEN by Bytheway-May

RED, BLUE, and GREEN are a 3 part "trilogy" of albums, with themes and compositions derived from the film "Renaissance Kid."

We decided to take it a step further than the story told in the film, focused on documenting the journey of a person trying to find themselves, what it means to exist, and how they fit in in the world.

Originally intended to be 2 albums, RED and BLUE, we got carried away with the themes and the journey this "character could go on" and GREEN emerged as a hybrid of the goal of both albums. We decided on RED/BLUE as an homage to the red and blue pills in The Matrix, implying that the BLUE album was the more "safe, traditional" album, compared to the madness and descent into the rabbit hole that RED explores.

We encourage you to take the time and listen to the albums as a story. Doesn't have to all be in one sitting. Let yourself be lost in the rabbit hole!
