All Electronics, Instruments and Drums - Benjamin Walsh
With exception of
Guitar - David Walsh tracks 7/10
Sizzla -Vocals & Mista Savona (Music) on Cold War
Recorded,Mixed and Mastered at Groovelands, Australia
Paying homage to the Amen break I spend much time achieving the best break sounds I could muster..Changing how I normally approach drum recording and playing in the studio. Using a crazy collection of kicks snares and frame drums to achieve the right sound.
Drum Breaks recorded to vintage NEVE and Grace Design Pre's using minimal mics sometimes just a single ribbon or SM57.
Summed using Japanese vintage TEAC 3 console
Most of the bass was an analog Music Percussion Computer (MPC1)
which had an incredible 808 kick which I used for most Bass in my tracks.
I used my incredible JUNO 6 on almost every track also.
Big up to VST designers Airwindows & Fullbucketmusic for Rare Korg emulations and virtual circuit stage emulations..really awesome
"Tie 2 birds together, even with 4 wings, they cannot fly"
But we did...love to all my Birds and extended family
