Pre-Purgatory by Buu E. Radley

We bring a harder sonic style than displayed on "Mustard Seed", while maintaining conviction in lyrics and true-to-self disposition. Purgatory is defined as a place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are atoning for their sins before going to heaven. If Purgatory should be such a dark and hellish place upon death, then "Pre-Purgatory", by definition, must be life. We'll explore various topics within life throughout the course of "Pre-Purgatory", and touch upon death as well. The idea and concept of "Pre-Purgatory" was heavily inspired by the song "I Seen a Man Die" by Scarface of the Geto Boys.

Buu E. is all for playing the music game on difficult. Sign to a label? Nah, lets go indie. Use the sound of the hometown? Nope, lets go against the grain. Add to the hijacking of hip hop to promote self destructive music to the people? No chance in hell. Our backs may be against the wall, and we may be down, but we are far from out. Taking hip hop back from the powers that be one album at a time.
