RND by Buttress O'Kneel

...so i've been playing a bunch with this randomiser function on The Beat Machine online sound editor tool thingie, and then i thought about when i was a kid in the eighties writing computer programs in Basic and how the command RND meant "random", and then i thought "hang on, i have an album called R&D, what if i ran each of the tracks on that album through the random-beat-ifier, and then released the result as "RND"?"

so of course that's what i did. so this album is essentially just the R&D album from 2018, except all the beats in every song are rearranged into a completely random order, by the very wonderful online BeatMachine thing.

it's a hard listen, let's be honest.

there are very few times when you'd want to listen to an album like this, but for those very few times when you *do*... then this is the perfect album.

all the song titles are anagrams of the song titles on R&D. they are way better than the original titles.

the artwork is the artwork from R&D run through a deepdream network in the style of itself, at a slightly smaller size. (don't worry if that doesn't mean anything to you.) after a few iterations of that, i put the words on, and then deepdreamed that finished cover into itself it's kinda like Inception, i guess.
