Four Obscurities by Body Cage

Body Cage is a project of an American residing in Moscow. This release has been in preparation for a long time, and we’re glad to see our efforts realized.
Tracks on the cassette span from the beginning of the project until recent. Recorded on a portastudio, with equipment consisting of an MS-20 saturated in tape echo and tape loops of various sound sources; the first side opens with a prolonged collapse of clattering metal and the second with the granular texture of sand while elsewhere broken melodies repeat.
At times seemingly suitable for a computer game - especially the closing track, bringing to mind credits scrolling - whose setting would be an area devastated by catastrophe. Indeed, the video-preview of the EP contains scenes from Pripyat and Ryoanji, both places beautiful by their exclusion and absence.
