Cryptid Erectus by Bunyip
The second record sees the band exploring new sonic territory. Whilst experimenting with different genres and ideas, the band has managed to maintain the unique, instantly recognizable Bunyip sound that fans of their first effort, 2016’s Skunge, have come to know and love.
Cryptid Erectus features a couple of surprises, notably guest appearances from Psycroptic’s Joe Haley and King Parrot’s Matt Young, as well as some classical acoustic interludes and also possibly some of the heaviest music Bunyip have ever laid to tape in the form of the monstrous instrumental title track.
