Ghost Pop is one of the many long running aliases of Aaron Liu, Portland resident and the mind behind such great projects as Balloon Club, Two Moons, Blue Domino, Lune, Lending Library, and more. With Ghost Pop, Liu builds wonderous and grand songs with soaring hooks and melodies and processes them through tape and cassette multitracks, resulting in otherworldly and airy pop songs. In this newest collection of music Liu evokes music like jangly indie pop, soaring ambient soundscapes, early rock n roll and more. Volume 6 is a huge step from an already stunning track record of recordings from this project.
