Hutch Hartford by Laith

Hailing originally from Houston, Texas, Portland is now lucky to have Laith. A songwriter who wears the influence of country greats on his sleeve but cuts out his own path with deeply personal lyrics and a unique voice that will rattle around in your brain night after night after you hear it. Hutch Hartford is a mostly solo affair of Laith singing and playing guitar with features from Chicago based songwriter Hemlock on select tracks and interludes of poetry and stories to round out the collection. Check out Laith with his band the Texas Birds, who have been playing backyards and patios around town in recent months. They are not to be missed and there are rumblings of a new record, so keep an eye out for that too.
