Forest God by A Fish in the River
With their new band A Fish in the River, former Holloway members John Durant, Cole Gann, and Stevie Driscoll come together (now with Durant at the songwriting helm) to meld elements of Indie Rock, Prog, Metal, Hardcore, Punk and more into a single band. The results end up sounding like a well crafted mixtape given to you by a friend's older brother who's shelf contains equal parts Up Records, SST and Southern Lord. Recorded in Portland by go-to producer Vin Jeter, the quality of the recordings reveal how big a three piece can sound when each element of the band is perfectly locked in.
Stoked to help share this with y'all and as a bonus each tape contains their 'Mutilation Demo' EP on the B-side (downloads also include these as bonus tracks).
