The long awaited full length album from Portland darlings Babytooth. With their debut EP, Thataway (bud007), Babytooth made a huge splash in the portland scene. This excitement led to the band opening for many great shows throughout Portland in the following years, once shows started happening again. In this new release, their combination of poignant, smiling, deeply felt lyricism and folk-tinged dynamic rock instrumentation really spreads out and shines over the full length album. Songwriter Isabel Zacharias and her band (now made up of members of Soft Cheese, Yellow Room and more) bring us from climactic peaks to valleys of rumination. Very stoked to help share this new record as Babytooth are one of the reasons that bud tapes exists today. Check out this monumental release from a band who means so much to me and to so many others.
