Decent Company by Catthew O.

In late 2015 I put Bubblegum Octopus on an unofficial hiatus and focused on writing and playing music outside the project. This collection of music comes from my participation in WeeklyBeats 2016, as well as some songs that I wrote for it that did not make the cut.

Halfway through the year I began to write more ambitious things again for myself, for another community I belong to (Battle of the Bits), soundtracks, and even BgO, which all took me away from doing much for WB. However, for the time I was on it, the WeeklyBeats community encouraged me to challenge myself and provided me a pathway to get out of my creative rut. I'm very thankful for the outlet, community, and forward motion it provided me.
