Graveyard Campfire by BROND

“MATCHSTICKS IS ALL ANYONE NEEDS
WHEN YOUR SOUL REEKS OF GASOLINE”

In 2016 BROND started work on their debut LP "Graveyard Campfire”
partly inspired by the political self-immolation cases that took place in
2013 and 2014 in Bulgaria. The record is a DIY release available on VINYL/DIGITAL/CD in 2018 followed by a European Tour in April-May 2018 spanning across 10 countries in Europe.

Special thanks to George “Geegor” Anagnostopoulos, Nikolay Ranguelov, Stefan Popov, Tsvetelina Kostova and everyone around the campfire.

THE OBELISK:

"A consistency of craft allows them to tip their hats to modern progressive metal — twisting riffs in a post-Mastodon vein put to their own purposes — and still make a chiefly melodic impression on songs like the aforementioned “Harvest the Sun,” the arrangement of multiple vocalists proving to be yet another strength put to welcome use. "BROND are quite capable at playing epic progressive sounds. It shouldn't really work with the Punk Rock dynamics BROND include on the album. However, it does and BROND pull this off with immense style. Maybe BROND have included too many different musical elements on certain parts of the album. Though it doesn't affect the overall sound of the album. As Graveyard Campfire is a mighty step forward of BROND. This is an album that should see BROND make a name for themselves within the Sludge/Stoner Rock scene. Graveyard Campfire is a daring, challenging, exciting and action packed album."
